Roberto Azevêdo reappointed WTO Director-General

In a meeting on February 28, 2017, Mr. Roberto Azevêdo was selected for a second four-year term as the Director-General of the World Trade Organization. His term would begin from September 1, 2017. He had expressed his desire to continue as the DG in 2016 itself, and by the end of that year, he was the only nominated candidate. He thanked members for their support and expressed his vision regarding the next term.
